There is a plethora of wildlife and flora in Gujarat, which makes it a veritable paradise for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts alike. Gujarat was also home to many great historical and legendary figures, including Dwarka Naresh, Lord Krishna, and Mahatma Gandhi, the apostle of peace.
Begin your Statue of Unity tour package from Ahmedabad at 08:00 am and start your journey. Enroute, you will visit the Swaminarayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is located on the banks of river Narmada and is famous for its architecture and wellness programs. As it's time for lunch, make a stop at one of Highway restaurants and have a self-sponsored lunch. Our first stop is the Sardar Sarovar Dam viewpoint offering a picturesque view of the Statue of Unity and the river Narmada. A visit to the valley of Flowers and check-out the cool selfie points, don’t forget to capture some amazing pictures.
Arrive at the Ahmedabad airport/railway station & get transferred to the sands of Rann of Kutch. Check in to the Kuch hotel/resort/Camp on arrival & have some rest. Explore the desert by an open Jeep safari & witness the grandeur of the native species like Wild-Ass, Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Blackbuck, Wolf, Jackal, & a few species of snakes, along with many species of birds. You can also visit the home of Rabari & Banjara, the two important tribes of the region. In the evening, enjoy some leisure time & overnight stay at the Kuch hotel/resort/camp.
Today we visit Kirti Mandir at Porbandar. Later we proceed to Dwarka. In the evening we visit the Dwarkadheesh Temple and walk on the Gomti River Ghat at Dwarka followed by a visit to Dwarka beach. After that we witness the evening Aarti. We also see the Sudama Bridge. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Today we visit Rukmini Temple, Samudra Narayan Temple and Dwarka Lighthouse. Later we visit Nageshwar Jyotirling and Bet Dwarka. We also visit Shivrajpur Beach – a blue flaged Indian beach long with pristine stretches of calm water. In the evening, we enjoy some free time for shopping. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Pickup Dwarka then proceed for Somnath and check in hotel then freshup and evening light show somnath overnight stay hotel .
At the penultimate day of your Somnath sightseeing,Morning After breakfast then Somnath Jyotirling Darshan ,Tirveni Sangam , Bhalka Teerth and overnight stay hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Diu– famous for its beaches, Nagerseth Havelis, and churches. Visit the Gangeshwar Temple, Panikotha, Diu Fort, and some famous churches in Diu. Spend the rest of the day at leisure strolling at the beach or go for some water sport activities. Overnight stay at the Diu hotel/resort.
Today, continue your journey & drive to Sasan Gir, the land of the Asiatic lion. Check-in at the hotel & proceed to visit Gir National Park. Take a safari (own expense). Overnight stay at the hotel. Notes: *The protected area of Gir National Park is closed from 16th June to 15th October every year and Safari’s will not be possible during this period
Today, early morning take a Jeep Safari at the Gir National Park proceed to Junagadh. Visit Upperkot Fort, Ashok Rock Edict, Mahabat Makabara and Junagadh Museum. Let’s pack our bags, check out from the hotel & collect all the memories and some souvenirs for our loved ones. We will be transferred to the Ahmedabad airport/railway station and fly back home.
